Ganesha was a very happy god. He had a big elephant head and kind, gentle eyes. Ganesha loved sweets, especially yummy ladoos!
One sunny day, Ganesha was enjoying a sweet, round ladoo. Yum! Suddenly, he saw a tiny little mouse peeking from behind a big rock. Squeak! The mouse looked very small and a little bit hungry.
Ganesha smiled. He broke off a tiny, tiny piece of his ladoo. "Here, little friend," he said softly. The mouse was a little shy, but Ganesha's smile was so kind. It scurried closer and took the little crumb. Nibble, nibble!
The mouse was so happy! From that day on, the little mouse became Ganesha's best friend. Sometimes, Ganesha would even let the tiny mouse ride on his big, kind hand. They were always happy together.
